It’s official: I successfully made the bread making leap from pizza dough to dinner rolls. I was really nervous about it, but I didn’t buy backup rolls for New Year’s Eve, so this had to work! And work it did…

This recipe from, you guessed it, Cooking Light, made sixteen rolls. All were coated with butter; a few were sprinkled with poppy seeds. I made four different shapes: knot, spiral, twist, and regular. If you’ve got the time and the ambition, making your own dinner rolls is totally worth it.
