This is a very simple macaroni and cheese recipe that we make. It is very creamy and doesn’t take much longer to make than the famous box. This is not a baked mac and cheese so it is ready almost as soon as the pasta is done. Eat this as a side dish or as the main meal. It will satisfy your comfort food needs.

  • 1/2 pound rotini (or some other pasta)
  • 1/2 can cheese sauce
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • salt to taste
  1. Cook the pasta according to the box directions until just past al dente. Drain.
  2. Put the pasta back into the pot.
  3. Add the canned cheese and cheddar cheese.
  4. Stir until cheese are melted and mixture is combined.
  5. Add salt to taste.
