This is a very simple macaroni and cheese recipe that we make. It is very creamy and doesn’t take much longer to make than the famous box. This is not a baked mac and cheese so it is ready almost as soon as the pasta is done. Eat this as a side dish or as the main meal. It will satisfy your comfort food needs.
- 1/2 pound rotini (or some other pasta)
- 1/2 can cheese sauce
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- salt to taste
- Cook the pasta according to the box directions until just past al dente. Drain.
- Put the pasta back into the pot.
- Add the canned cheese and cheddar cheese.
- Stir until cheese are melted and mixture is combined.
- Add salt to taste.
