I had one of the best kinds of surprises waiting for me when I got home today… brownies! Not your box brownies either, actual homemade ones!

4 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
3/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

As soon as I saw these Pumpkin Whoopie Pies posted on Just Eat It, I knew I Just Had To Make Them. Had to.

Still, these gems exceeded my expectations. My house smells like Pumpkin Paradise and I have two dozen* of these cake-like cookies filled with frosting. Pure fall bliss!
